Apple Valley Senior Housing has 30 one-bedroom apartments, with three designed and reserved to accommodate the handicapped. Each apartment is approximately 600 square feet and has interior and exterior entrances to each individual apartment.

  •   Basic Cable Included with Rent All residents receive basic cable included with their monthly rent. Cable television in our area is provided by Spectrum. Spectrum Channel Guide   •   Laundry Facilities Each building has two washers and two dryers. Use of these facilities are included with the rent for each unit. •   Mail Delivery Each building has centrally located mailboxes with outgoing mail drop-off as well.   •   Trash Collection Apple Valley has trash pickup provided weekly by Casella Waste Systems. On site are two dumpsters and two recycle bins. This service is also included in the rent to all residents.   •   Personal Storage In addition to two spacious closets in their apartment; each resident has access to a single, private storage closet (in their building) large enough to store holiday decorations, seasonal clothing, or any other personal belongings that may be important to him or her. •   Community Room in Building “A” This room is available for all residents.  There is a refrigerator, stove, microwave, TV and bathroom, along with several tables for socialization.  This room is used for meetings, special events and can be reserved and used by residents for family functions. •   Gazebos Apple Valley has two Gazebos for residents to use.  The Gazebos come with outdoor lawn furniture for sitting and a small table.  There are also two barbeque grills situated next to each gazebo that are for residents’ use. •   Lawn Care, Property Maintenance and Snow and Ice Removal Property maintenance and care is included in the rent.  Apple Valley Senior Housing takes pride in keeping the buildings well maintained, clean and safe.  Removal of snow and ice is also a top priority for all our residents and visitors. •   Peru Volunteer Fire Department Apple Valley Senior Housing is located within one mile of the Peru Fire Department.  The EMT of CVPH provides emergency care.  This service is available 24 hours a day and is supported by the taxpayers of Peru and Keeseville. •   Access to Public Transportation Apple Valley residents have access to Clinton County Public Transit •   Location Location Location …  You will find that Apple Valley is within walking distance to several local businesses and parks. Peru Post Office, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Sweet Treat Ice Cream Stand (seasonal), Pasquales (order out or eat in dining), Topps Supermarket, Swains Liquor Store, Aubuchon Hardware, Village Laundry, Peru Automatic Car Wash, Kinney Drugs, Libertys Garage, The Historical Heyworth/Mason Park; and the Town of Peru Gazebo (which hosts weekly concerts during the Summer months).
